I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
